There are SO MANY BOOKS, SO LITTLE TIME!
This summer I read quite a few interesting books.
The Psi Chronicles (Freakling, Archon & True Son)
by Lana Krumwiede
Quite the adventurous books. Taemon lives in a world where telekinesis abilities are the norm. Unless you are him therefore earning the nickname "Freakling." As the series progresses many twists evolve.
The Problim Children
by Natalie Lloyd
Their last name is Problim (it's really not misspelled). When the siblings house in the woods blows up and their parents are away, they must rely on each other to survive. As luck would have it the Problim children have inherited a home in town where they are not initially welcomed. Turns out that these children are not the problem in this town.
The Oodlethunks, Oona Finds an Egg
by Adele Griffin
If you like prehistoric times and dinosaurs, you'll love The Oodlethunks. A fun family living among predators. Oona discovers a very large egg, but is not sure what's inside. Nevertheless, she cherishes her new pet, and is determined to love and care for it so that it hatches into a healthy something!
Alistair Grim's Odditorium
by Gregory Funaro
Grubb is an ordinary boy who finds himself in an extraordinary place, the Odditorium, where "the odd was the ordinary." Set in long ago London, Grubb learns many secrets the Odditorium and Mr. Grim have been hiding.
